What is the Tree Frog Pad made of?
The anti slip pad is made from an environmentally friendly Synthetic
Resin. Resin is the incredibly sticky hydrocarbon secretion that is
naturally occurring in most plants. (That’s a big way of saying Resin
is tree sap). The Tree Frog Pad’s Synthetic Resin is just as sticky as
Resin, but it will never leave a residue on the surfaces it comes
in contact with, nor will it harm fine furniture surfaces. Use it as a
truck laptop stand or dash grip for electronics – no residue will harm
the digital devices!
Is the Tree Frog Pad Toxic?
No, the sticky dash grip is non-toxic, odorless, tasteless and not intended for consumption.
Does the Tree Frog Pad accumulate dust, dirt, and other gunk?
Of course, the Tree Frog Pad accumulates gunk – it’s mighty sticky! But
there is no need to worry. Whenever your sticky car mount gets dirty
or becomes less adhesive just give it a quick rinse with water… and
maybe a little soap for the tougher messes. The Tree Frog Pad will be
as good as new once it’s dry and Tree Frog Pad will never harm a sound finish.
Nor will it leave behind a gooey residue or grease spot like some other
adhesive dash grips may. Use it in a car, boat or truck as a laptop

Will my Tree Frog Pad harm the paint or varnish on the surfaces I put it on?
No, The Tree Frog Pad will never harm a sound finish. Nor will it leave behind a gooey residue or grease spot like some other adhesive pads may.
How long will my tree frog last?
It all depends on use; a Tree Frog Pad used daily will last years. Tree
Frog Pads that are used to hold fragile items for earthquake protection

How long will my Tree Frog Pad hold an object in Place?
Great question… and this is important. Tree Frog Pads are not intended
to hold items against the force of gravity for long periods of time.
They will slowly pull away. They are intended to withstand quick
jerky movements encountered in autos, boats, earthquakes, etc. Never
mount something on a wall with a Tree Frog Pad. This is why we
advertise using our anti slip pad as a dash mount for digital devices or
securing random objects in place (like glasses, maps, pens, cups) on a
dashboard, table or other relatively horizontal slope.

Can I cut the Pad to Shape?
Yes, you can cut the sticky mat easily into whatever shape you desire.
First, mark the anti grip pad with a sharpie prior to cutting. Then, to
prevent the scissors from sticking to the pad, simply wet the pad and
scissors with water. Cut into your desired shape! The sharpie markings
will wash off easily after cutting. Some of the creative cuts for this
